Forfar Academy is a comprehensive school serving the community in and around the market town of Forfar, Angus.  Although our history reaches back to the 19th Century, our present building on the northern edge of the town was opened in 1965.  Since then it has been regularly upgraded to meet the needs of the 21st Century.

 

One of the features of schools today is the developing importance of technology in learning. At Forfar Academy we have invested heavily in technology and in ensuring that it is used effectively to promote learning.

Our web site is a further example of this and will give you an opportunity to learn all about our school. There should be something here to interest everyone and we aim to provide as full a picture of the academic, extra-curricular and social life of the school for all visitors to the web site – pupils, staff, parents and careers – indeed, anyone interested in what’s going on at Forfar Academy throughout the year.
