Part of the Pupil Learning Council’s remit is to help improve learning and attainment in school. The group includes 2 representatives from each year group. They meet monthly as an entire group and may meet more regularly in smaller sub groups during Tutor Time. Its constitution can be found here.
The Pupil Learning Council comes up with resources, suggestions and initiatives to improve pupils’ learning and attainment and will promote these to other pupils.
The Pupil Learning Council also creates surveys and debate topics to be carried out by pupils in Tutor Time and continues to promote the Pupil Council Glow Blog for this. They also take advantage of the new plasma screens to showcase the work they are doing.
